What you're paying for

A reading experience worth $0.16/day.

That's less than a daily coffee, for the tool that turns "I'll read it later" into "I read it today." For most users, that's worth a few hours of reclaimed attention every week.

How we compare

Better tool. Lower price.

Most reading apps either charge $10–20/month or quietly sell your data. We do neither.

From real readers

Built for the people other reading apps forgot.

"
I just read a 3,000-word article in 8 minutes and remembered every key point. I haven't done that since college.

I have dyslexia. Most 'reading aids' feel medical. This one just feels like a really nice reader.

I'm a skeptic about speed reading. FocusFlow doesn't promise magic — it just removes the bottleneck. It works.

Questions

Things people ask before subscribing.

Why a subscription instead of a one-time price?+

Ongoing development, future TTS API costs, and a coming mobile app. Subscribers fund the roadmap. You can cancel anytime, and your reading position stays in your browser either way.

Will FocusFlow really help my ADHD?+

External pacing is an established compensatory strategy for attention challenges, and removing the visual labor of saccades is mechanically helpful. We don't make clinical claims. Try it free for a week — that's the test.

Is this safe for dyslexic readers?+

Many dyslexic readers benefit from reduced visual load. Some (with phonological-processing subtypes) benefit less. We won't claim to treat or cure dyslexia — we offer a different way to read.

What's the comprehension cost?+

Up to ~500 wpm, comprehension is preserved for most readers (Rayner 2016). Above ~600, it drops measurably for almost everyone. We default to your speech rate and let you go faster only if it works for you.

What about my data?+

Reading happens in your browser. Stats and preferences live in localStorage on your device. No analytics, no tracking, no data sale. Billing is handled by Stripe — we never see your card.

Can I cancel?+

Yes, in one click in the customer portal. No phone calls, no retention scripts, no guilt.

Reading shouldn't be the thing you keep failing at.

Try three reads on us today. If FocusFlow clicks, $4.99/mo. If it doesn't, you've still cleared three articles you'd been ignoring. Either way, you win.
